Equipment
Ooni pizza oven
Ooni Infrared Thermometer
Pizza Peel

Ingredients
One 150-200 gram dough ball
Fine sea salt, to taste
Flour, for dusting (we recommend: Flour Semolina Extra Fine )
4 slices of prosciutto
4 slices of fior di latte (fresh mozzarella) (For top quality taste, we recommend Fior Di Latte)
1 ball of burrata cheese
Fresh basil leaves
Extra virgin olive oil

Condiment:
Sweet & hot honey (optional)

Method

Note:
For the dough, we recommend our Classic Pizza Dough, just be sure to set aside 3 to 4 hours for proofing before cooking.

  1. Preheat your oven until the stone reads 750 °F (400 °C). You can check this quickly, accurately and from a safe distance with an infrared thermometer.

  2. Stretch the dough into a 10-inch round or oval shape and place it on a floured pizza peel.

  3. Generously drizzle olive oil over the surface, then fold it in half to form a half-circle. Adding fior di latte on the bottom half

  4. Drizzle the top with more olive oil.

  5. Launch the pizza sandwich base into the oven and cook for 60 to 90 seconds, turning it every 20 seconds for an even bake.

  6. Begin assembling your sandwich by unfolding the cooled, cooked pizza crust. Generously spread pesto on the bottom half. Layer with, prosciutto, and burrata. Finish with a topping of fresh basil. Adding sweet & hot honey if you prefer. Enjoy!
